Funeral Service Lead - Full Time

We currently have an opening for a Funeral Service Lead position. The Service Lead manages all phases of the funeral process. He or she communicates directly with customers, makes arrangements, coordinates all aspects of the service, and ensures a flawless high-quality experience for the families we serve. 

 

Job Description:

  • Handles incoming calls and inquiries through various mediums 

  • Consults with the deceased’s family & collects information to make arrangements

  • Plans, coordinates and executes the funeral service with the support of the wider team

  • Handles payments and prepares itemized receipts for customers 

  • Collects feedback from families to continuously enhance the experience 

  • Collects feedback from team members to further optimize the process

  • Ensures the service quality meets our company’s standard and escalates to the supervisor as needed to ensure 100% customer satisfaction

  • Executes on other ad-hoc tasks as needed from time to time

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 

  • Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills and a proven ability to multitask

  • Compassionate and empathetic with excellent communication skills

  • Able to perform under pressure and to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Willing to travel and to work on weekends or public holidays as needed 

  • High level of integrity and professionalism with strong desire to learn & grow

  • Reliable and always on-time

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 1-3 years of work experience in customer service, administration or customer-facing environment (healthcare or hospitality is a plus)

  • Problem-solver and a good team player 

  • Proficient in spoken and written English

  • Valid Egyptian driver’s license

  • Cairo/Giza resident
