Funeral Operation Lead - Full Time

We currently have an opening for a Funeral Operation Lead position. The Operation Lead accompanies the body of the deceased throughout the funeral service to ensure an honorable experience every step of the way. She or he partners with the Funeral Service Lead to carry a high-quality, peaceful and smooth funeral service for the family of the deceased. This individual is also responsible for the preparation of the body of the loved ones and for the quality and safety of their transportation.


Job Description:

  • Prepares and accompanies the body of the deceased throughout the funeral service day 

  • Coordinates with the Funeral Service Lead to obtain required instructions and sends timely updates at various steps of the process 

  • Manages and trains a team of assistants accompanying and transporting the deceased   

  • Ensures a high-quality service that meets our company’s standards 

  • Prepares and purchases, within a preset budget, the service kit (ie.: tools & supplies) needed to carry the body preparation among other steps of the service

  • Collects feedback from team members to further optimize the process

  • Executes on other ad-hoc tasks as needed from time to time



  • Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills and a strong desire to do excellent work

  • Respectful of the body of the deceased as well as of the different cultures and beliefs

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • Driven to consistently produce quality work  

  • Reliable and always on-time

  • Excellent communicator and a great team-player

  • Willing to travel and to work on weekends or public holidays as needed 

  • Problem solver with ability to work under pressure while maintaining company standards

  • Professional, empathetic and able to communicate with the families if needed 

  • High-level of integrity and passion for helping others


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 1-3 years of work experience

  • Willing to actively participate in the body preparation (training provided)

  • Ability to create good team culture and to bring harmony to the workplace

  • Valid Egyptian driver’s license

  • Cairo/Giza resident
